To celebrate the first anniversary of its reopening, La Tête dans les Nuages on Boulevard des Italiens (Paris) made us see life in blue — the blue of the sky, beyond the too persistent clouds above the capital for months.

Hostilities started at 6 p.m. for journalists and bloggers; we ran into our friend Bertrand Amar from Barmar Live (awkwardly sponsored by a sugar-free drink — that’s not likely to happen to us!).
The public, meanwhile, entered from 8 p.m. for €10 — all the arcade machines then switched to freeplay. But at NemcoShow, we were on site from 2 p.m. (or earlier) to set up some video game fun.

On the program: a 10-player Bomberman, some good retro console games with the right titles. The crowd was large, won over, crushed at Bomberman (Kendo was there). Manpac sometimes managed to win by taking all the risks — making the victory all the sweeter!

We only want one thing: to blow out many more candles for this beautiful arcade hall that is La Tête dans les Nuages! Long live arcade and thanks to all those who made the trip that evening.
I immortalized all this digitally for posterity… including my fail of the year at arm wrestling!
See you soon, friends.
